The Deep are looking forward to holding their popular Ecology at the Beach sessions this summer holidays, continuing their partnership with Sewerby Hall and Gardens.
On the 6th and 27th August, Deep Crew will be back at Sewerby Hall with a range of summer-themed activities on offer. Visitors can try their hand at beachcombing, creating unique marine artwork, identifying ecology on the Yorkshire coastline, and much more!
There will be an exciting opportunity to join Deep Crew on two daily ‘Seaside Safari’ sessions. Running from 11:30am-12:30pm and 1:30pm-2:30pm, visitors will be able to explore the rockpools down on the beach at Sewerby, learning more about some of the creatures that inhabit them. Suitable for all ages, there’s plenty to see and explore on the Yorkshire coastline!
A variety of fun summer activities will also be running in Sewerby Hall’s Orangery, from 11am to 3pm each day. This includes artefact handling, investigating rockpool species using an ID sheet, interactive rockpool games, and more!
